Yvonne is a depth psychologist, educator, career coach, and writer. She holds a BEd in secondary education, an MA in Educational Research, with emphasis on Jungian Theory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® tool (Thesis – Experiencing Psychological Type: Interactive Insights into the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® tool); an MA and PhD in Depth Psychology, with emphasis in Jungian and Archetypal Studies (Dissertation - Trauma, Trigger, Transformation: An Archetypal Approach to Adolescent Suicide Attempts). Teaching, coaching, and parenting have taught her a great deal about relationships and the importance of communication.
Yvonne is a writer for the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, Inc., (CAPT) for their online parenting website at www.peoplestripes.org; and is an Associate Consultant for The Myers-Briggs Company and Psychometrics Canada. She has participated in advanced workshops on the following topics: Exploring the Wisdom of Type and Diversity; Was that Really Me? – type and the inferior function; Type and Career Development Over the Lifespan; and Combining the Strong Interest Inventory® and the MBTI® Tools in Career Counseling and Consulting.
Yvonne has presented academic papers at conferences in the U.S. and Canada through the Jungian Society for Scholarly Studies (JSSS) and the International Association for Jungian Studies (IAJS).
